Anatolian Delight is a packaging collection developed for Élyse Fine Chocolate, created for a series of Turkish delight products in different flavours and formats. The project explores how references to Anatolian visual culture can be translated into a contemporary packaging language while retaining the recognisable character of a traditional product.
I developed the visual system around ornamental patterns, architectural geometries and decorative framing associated with Anatolian material culture. Rather than reproducing a specific historical motif, these references were reinterpreted and reorganised to create a graphic language specific to the collection. The central label structure provides a consistent hierarchy for the brand, product name, flavour and origin information, while the surrounding pattern gives each package its visual density and character.
Colour became an identifying element within the system. Different palettes distinguish flavours such as pistachio and rose, while the recurring composition, typography, metallic details and ornamental structure maintain continuity across the collection. The cylindrical metal tins were treated as complete surfaces, allowing the pattern to wrap around the object rather than functioning only as a frontal label.
The project brings together product heritage and contemporary brand communication, using pattern, typography, colour and packaging structure to build a distinct identity for Élyse’s Turkish delight collection.
